Birmingham zeigt Web 2.0-Angebot auf YouTube

Die Birmingham Public Library in Alabama (USA) zeigt unter der Überschrift „Social Software“ in einem Animationsfilm auf YouTube ihre Web 2.0-Angebote. Dazu gehören die bekanntesten und beliebtesten Dienste wie Flickr mit Fotos von Veranstaltungen, die Bibliotheksblogs mit neuesten Bibliotheksnachrichten sowie zu den digitalen Beständen der Birmingham PL, das Bibliotheksprofil auf MySpace sowie natürlich das Angebot mit Filmen zu den Bibliotheksaktivitäten auf YouTube. Fazit: Die Kollegen aus Birmingham haben die Herausforderungen des Web 2.0 angenommen!

    Thank you so much for the wonderful comments about the Birmingham Public Library. I do need to make one correction about the location of the library. We are in Birmingham, Alabama, USA not in Great Britian. We share the same name with Birmingham, England because of our industrial past but we are looking forward to future in our library with the wonders of Web 2.0.
